About The Quireboys
The Quireboys are an English hard rock band, formed in 1984 and remaining active to the present day. Originally from London, the five-member band has had several line-up changes over the years but original vocalist Spike remains the leader of the group. They are most known for their debut album A Bit of What You Fancy which reached number six on the UK Albums Chart and spawned the international hit single “Hey You”. The Quireboys have been involved in a number of projects, giving them exposure to a wide range of audiences, and have even exported their brand of traditional British rock to throwback venues around the world. They’ve toured with many classic rock acts such as Deep Purple, Mötley Crüe, Cheap Trick and The Almighty, and in 2008 collaborated with Thin Lizzy members Scott Gorham and Brian Downey for a UK tour.
