About The Villains
The Villains is an American indie rock band from Nashville, Tennessee composed of lead singer/bassist Matthew Barnes, guitarist/songwriter Joseph Hiers and drummer Vaugh Westbrook. Having self-released multiple singles, EPs and albums, the band has been making music together for the better part of a decade. Their sound blends aspects of blues, folk, swamp rock, and roots rock together to create a unique and dynamic blend of rock & roll.
The Villains have risen the ranks in recent years, performing at the world renowned Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and have been featured in numerous articles. Their songs have been featured in TV shows like "Orange Is The New Black" and "The Vampire Diaries". The band has toured with other prominent acts, such as Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Head and the Heart.
