About The Wildhearts

The Wildhearts are an English alternative rock band from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, formed in 1989. The current lineup consists of vocalist and guitarist Ginger, guitarists CJ and Ritch Battersby, bassist Scott Sorry and keyboardist and vocalist Jack Frost. The Wildhearts have released several albums including Earth Versus The Wildhearts (1993), P.H.U.Q (1995) and Endless, Nameless (2000). They gained notoriety for their rock outbursts which have often led to an on-stage scuffle or even an arrest. Though the band went on hiatus more than once, they have a worldwide cult following including a passionate fan base in Japan. They continue to write songs and released their tenth album Renaissance Men in 2019.
