About Jake Banfield
Jake Banfield is an acoustic folk-pop artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. Since his debut in 2011, he has released 4 full-length albums, as well as several EPs and compilations. His music often blends elements of traditional folk and Americana with modern indie-pop production.
In 2018, he released his most successful album to date, "Yonder", which saw him achieve his highest chart positions and tour extensively across the US and China. He has been featured on Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and other streaming services.
In 2020, he released a collection of stripped down acoustic versions of his songs, "The Lighthouse Sessions", a tribute to his parents and an effort to express the same spirit of his rootsy acoustic side projects.
Jake continues to tour frequently through the US and Europe, and puts out new music regularly. His music celebrates the beauty of the human spirit with powerful and relevant stories.
