Alain Johannes is a Chilean-American multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his work as a founding member of the rock band Eleven and for collaborations with diverse artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan, and Josh Homme. Johannes has also performed as a member of the supergroups Them Crooked Vultures, Queens of the Stone Age and the Propane Prophets.

His solo recordings have focused on acoustic styles of guitar and vocals as well as instrumentals. Johannes' first album, Spark, was released in 2011 and he has since released a self-titled album with his wife, Natasha Shneider. He has also released a 2015 collaboration album with alternate pop singer Damien Rice.
