Blur is an English rock band formed in London in 1988. Featuring vocalist / guitarist Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree, Blur is one of the most successful and influential bands of the 90s. Their debut album, Leisure, was released in 1991, and was a commercial success in the UK. It spawned several iconic tracks, such as "She's So High" and "There's No Other Way". The band followed this up with the critically acclaimed album Parklife in 1994, which achieved massive success due to singles such as "Girls and Boys" and "Parklife", becoming a britpop classic. Blur released a total of seven albums, with their 1997 self-titled effort being seen as a departure from their previous work.
