Huerco S, is an electronic music producer and DJ from Kansas City, United States. Drawing inspiration from the city's rich African American musical heritage, he combines this with an evolving range of electronic dance sounds. His sound explores ambient, house, techno, kosmische, dub and East African influences. His debut album, 'Colonial Patterns', was released in 2014 on the Software label and was praised by music critics for its inventive blend of emotive ambience and physical drum programming. Since then he has released four more critically acclaimed albums, including 2018's 'Prince of Truth', 'For Those of You Who Have Never (And Also Those Who Have) and his most recent 2020 album 'Projects', which further pushes his sound into rich new territories.
