Joe Mungovan is an Irish musician and singer-songwriter from Limerick, Ireland. He grew up in the small town of Dromcollogher, and has called it "home". He started his musical career in the early 2000s, playing solo shows in local pubs and clubs. In 2011, Joe released his debut album, Unsung Songs, which earned him critical acclaim, particularly in Ireland and the UK. He followed this up with a second album, The Wild West, which further expanded his sound and showcased his distinctive lyrical approach. In recent years, Joe has been touring around Ireland, the UK and Europe, playing to packed venues and gaining fans with his unique mix of Americana, folk and pop-rock. His third album, Bright Another Day, was released in July 2018 and cemented his reputation as an emerging talent. Joe has become well-known for his emotive, storytelling lyrics and intimate live performances.
