Litmus is an innovative and experimental duo comprised of musicians and multimedia artists Jeff Boynton and Jamie Finucane. Together, they blend sampling, electronic music production, and sonic experiments with live instrumentation. Their signature sound blends IDM, ambient, jazz, and instrumental hip hop into lush soundscapes.

Formed in 1998, they released their debut album “Classic Mentalism” on Projekt Records in 2002. Since, their albums “Celestial Invocation” (2004), “Navigating by Starlight” (2006), and “Contact” (2009) have received international critical acclaim and considerable airplay in the world of ambient/electronica. Their most recent work, “Invisible Bridges” (2013), was featured in the iTunes Electronic/Dance genre's New & Noteworthy and garnered positive reviews.
