Matisa is a southern-bred concept-pop artist, hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. She has spent the last 6 years crafting her unique blend of funk, hip-hop, and pop-inspired music. In 2017, Matisa released her debut EP Weekend, which showcased her dynamic and infectious sound. Since then, she has continued to grow both her sound and her live audience, playing festivals and touring venues throughout the Southeast. She wrote and produced her latest single “Rigamortis” all on her own and has since released a string of singles. With her unique lyricism and sound, Matisa has established herself as one of the most exciting emerging acts from the South.
