Midway is a French electronic music group that was formed in 2006 of duo Johan Sultan and Pierre-Jean Chabot. They have become popular in creating music that expresses their French-Gallic heritage, often combining electronic and acoustic instruments with samples of various cultures from around the world. Midway have released 3 studio albums since their formation – 'Mister Wobble' in 2009, 'The Killing Thought' in 2012, and 'Heart of the Sun' in 2016. They have also scored numerous films, and have toured France, United States, Japan and Mexico. Most recently in 2018, a remix of their track 'The Satellite' was released as part of a collaboration with the late composer Jafar Gaffar.
