Miya Folick is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Los Angeles, California. She began writing music while in college and released her first single "Trouble Adjusting" in 2014 and two EPs, Strange Darling and Strange Darling Acoustic Sessions, in 2017. In 2019, she released her full-length debut album, Premonitions, to widespread critical acclaim. The album featured her single "Stop Talking," which was nominated for a 2020 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance. In addition to her solo work, Folick has collaborated with artists such as Beck, Pumarosa, and Kid Cudi, among others. She has also performed at standard music festivals, such as Coachella, Outside Lands, and ACL. Miya Folick is known for her captivating songwriting and powerful yet evocative live performances.
