Radio Birdman tickets

Radio Birdman is an Australian punk rock and pub rock band active during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Formed in Sydney in 1974, Radio Birdman brought together musical influences from punk, garage rock and 1960s rock and roll. They played regularly at an inner-city pub, the “Oxford Tavern”, which became an important venue for the Australian punk movement.

Radio Birdman had a significant influence on the Australian music scene, with their hard and fast brand of raw garage rock. They developed a devoted following through word of mouth and the Australian national radio network Triple J. Radio Birdman released two albums during its lifetime, Radios Appear in 1977 and Living Eyes in 1981, plus a series of their own 7-inch singles, as well as numerous compilations and an unofficial third album by the cover band New Race. The band ended in 1978, though they reunited later in 1996 for several live shows.
