Ricky Martin is a Puerto Rican singer and actor who rose to fame as part of the Latin pop group Menudo. His Latin-pop and Spanish-language albums have sold over 70 million copies worldwide, making him one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. In 1999, he released his first solo English-language album, the self-titled Ricky Martin, which included the hit singles “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” “She’s All I Ever Had,” and “Private Emotion.” He has since released several albums and singles, including the award-winning "Open Arms" in 2007. He has also starred in several films and television series, most notably General Hospital in 1994. In 2011, he became a coach on the reality singing competition The Voice Australia and recently starred in the hit Broadway musical Evita.
