Sleepmakeswaves is an instrumental/post-rock band based out of Sydney, Australia. They have been active in the music industry since 2007 and quickly developed a distinct sound that blends post-rock and progressive metal. The band consists of four members: Alex Wilson (vocals, keyboards), Otto Wicks-Green (guitar), Tim Adderly (bass) and Tom Rogers (drums).

Sleepmakeswaves have released three studio albums, one EP and several splits and compilations since their formation. Their song, "Something Like Avalanches", was featured in the popular video game, Assassins Creed: Syndicate, in 2015. This earned them international attention and exposed them to a much larger audience.
