Ville Valo is a Finnish musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist best known as a frontman of the Finnish gothic rock band HIM. He has also forged a successful career as a solo artist, with six released albums to date. Valo released his first studio album in 2000, and has since collaborated with numerous artists, including Apocalyptica and WHITESNAKE. Valo is also known for his peculiarity, which can be witnessed in his moody, dark, and sometimes humorous lyrics. He also often incorporates elements of poetry in his work.
