Sam Jay is an American comedian, writer, and actress from Massachusetts. She's best known for her unique style of comedy, infusing sardonic humor about current events and issues with her own personal stories. She made her television debut on an episode of Comedy Central’s The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail and later on, she wrote for Saturday Night Live. Sam has also spent time writing for shows like Big Time in Hollywood, Fl and The Rundown With Robin Thede. Her stand-up appearances include The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Kevin Hart’s Comedy Series Laugh Out Loud, and a Comedy Central half-hour special, Sam Jay: 3 In The Morning. Her writing and performances have earned her honors including The New Face at Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in 2018, and Sam was a featured performer in Variety magazine’s 2018 list of comics to watch.
