Lonestar is a country band from the US state of Texas. Formed in 1992, the band has achieved over twenty top 10 singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including four number 1's. The group consists of Richie McDonald, Michael Britt, Keech Rainwater, Dean Sams, and Bruce Gaitsch. They quickly became a hit on US country radio and have gone on to become multi-platinum album successes. Throughout their career, they have released 12 studio albums, 34 Top 10 singles, 12 chart-topping hits, and 5 million albums sold. The band has also won many awards, including 4 Academy of Country Music awards for Vocal Group of the Year, and two CMA Awards. They continue to tour and perform today.
