Don Omar, born William Omar Landrón Rivera, is a reggaeton singer from Puerto Rico. He began his career in the early 2000s and has since become one of the genre's pioneers in Latin America. He has been nominated for nine Latin Grammys, winning one in 2008 for Best Urban Music Album. He has also won three Latin Billboard Music Awards, an ASCAP Latin Award, and four Reggaeton Awards from la Feria de Reggaeton in Puerto Rico. His signature song, “Danza Kuduro”, reached the Number 1 spot on music charts in several countries. He is the owner of King’s Music Records, and has released nine studio albums, four live albums, and over twenty music videos.
