About The Smyths
The Smyths are an English rock band formed in 1988 by brothers John and Paul Smith. They are best known for their hits "Lazy Jane" and "Lady I Do", and are recognized for their unique blend of indie, folk and classic rock. After a few successful releases, they toured the UK extensively for several years before disbanding in 1996. Their influence was picked up on by many modern bands, and the band members reunited for small reunion tours in 2007 and again in 2013. The Smyths are still highly respected in the British rock scene and remain popular live draws.
