About The Surfing Magazines

The Surfing Magazines are an eclectic music project formed in Newcastle upon Tyne, England in the early 2000s. The group is comprised of four synergistic and talented musicians: Max Easterby, Matt Harrop, Jonny Helm and Andy Cain. The Surfing Magazines have released three studio albums to date, two of which are preferred by critics and fans. The group's style of music is an interesting blend of lo-fi rock and psychedelic pop, combining elements of each genre to make truly unique works of art. Over the years, they have toured extensively in the UK and US, making blips on both sides of the Atlantic. The Surfing Magazines plan to record and tour further, and have a dedicated fanbase who look forward to the next chapter of their musical journey.
