About Vis Vires
Vis Vires is a Swedish electropop duo consisting of siblings David and Linda Olofsson. Formerly known as Delonda, the Olofssons changed their name to Vis Vires in 2011 after the release their debut album, Vis Vires. Their music has been described as a mix of electronic pop and indie rock, drawing influences from the likes of Fever Ray, Imogen Heap and Freezepop. Creating music through organic instruments combined with modern production and sampling techniques, they have been able to carve out a unique sonic landscape. Their latest album, Heathen Rites (2020), delves into themes of introspection and introverted empowerment, creating a listening experience as emotional as it is thought provoking.
