About Nina Nastasia
Nina Nastasia is an American singer-songwriter and musician from New York City. She released her debut album Dogs in 2000, and gained international attention with her 2002 album Run to Ruin. She has recorded and collaborated with various musicians, including Steve Albini, Jim White, and the late Rowland S. Howard. She moved to the UK in 2009 and since 2012 has mainly been active as half of the duo Nastasia & Howe. Nastasia has been praised for her powerful voice, her unique and captivating songwriting, and her complex, yet graceful melodies. Her music is a fusion of indie rock, folk, and classical influences. She has released nine full-length albums throughout her career.
