Blind Melon is an American rock band formed in 1990 in Los Angeles, California, known for their fusion of alternative rock and neo-psychedelia. The band achieved mainstream success with their 1992 self-titled debut album, particularly the hit single "No Rain," which became iconic for its accompanying music video featuring the "bee girl." Despite their early success, the band faced challenges following the untimely death of their charismatic lead singer, Shannon Hoon, in 1995. After a hiatus, Blind Melon reformed in the late 2000s with new lead vocalist Travis Warren and continue to perform and release new music, preserving their legacy while evolving their sound.
