Their music has been described as a combination of indie rock and soupy vocals, and their lyrics often tackle topics of gender, sexuality, and middle-class anxiety. The band is made up of Julia Shapiro (vocals/guitar), Gretchen Grimm (drums), Lydia Lund (guitar/vocals), and Annie Truscott (bass/vocals). They have released two albums, No Regerts (2013) and Time To Go Home (2015), as well as multiple singles. In 2019, they received acclaim for their latest album, Chastity Belt, as well as being featured on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series. Their music has earned them a growing fan base in the indie rock community, and their live shows have earned them a reputation for tight performances and intense energy.
