Dur-Dur Band tickets

Dur-Dur Band is a renowned Somali music group from the 1980s that has since gone on to have a lasting collective impact in popular music. The combination of the ethereal synth and distinctly Somali sound they brought to the genre of adoons has earned them a place in the Somali musical pantheon. They were extremely prolific in the 1980s, making and arranging an incredible body of work for many Somali artists during that time. They also released several albums, starting with their 1982 record “Dur-Dur Hits”, which includes some of their most popular tracks such as “Jig Jig” and “Boqorradii Hore.” They continue to be remembered and celebrated to this day, and their influence can still be felt in Somali and pop music from the region.
