Josie Duncan tickets

Josie Duncan is a Scottish Gaelic-speaking songwriter and traditional vocalist who comes from the Outer Hebrides. She fuses elements of traditional Gaelic and British folk music with modern influences, creating her own unique, soulful sound. Josie has released two albums, 2013's Songs from the Silver Strands and 2018's Cryptomnesia. She has toured extensively all over the UK, Europe, and Australia, and shared the stage with the likes of Jarlath Henderson, Elephant Sessions, Viento Smith, and The Hebridean Boys. Her songwriting and music has been awarded an array of accolades, including being the Winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year 2019. Josie also won the 2021 Burnsong International Songwriting Contest.
