Oranssi Pazuzu is a Finnish psychedelic black metal band, formed in 2007. They blend black metal with elements of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, krautrock and ambient music, crafted together with traditional Finnish folk melodies and influences. Oranssi Pazuzu have released five studio albums to date, beginning with the 2008 release of Muukalainen Puhuu. The band’s latest studio album, Mestarin Kynsi, was released in 2020. The band's music has been well received by critics, citing their unique blend of genres and their ability to craft complete sounding tracks. They have toured extensively in Europe, Russia, and The United States.
