Paul Young is an English singer-songwriter known for blending styles like post-punk, soul, and synth-pop. He has won multiple awards over his 40-year career. He first achieved mainstream success as frontman of the post-punk group The Q-Tips in the 1980s. His solo debut album, 'No Parlez', became a smash hit in 1983 and was certified multi-platinum in several countries. It spawned the hits 'Wherever I Lay My Hat(That's My Home)', 'Love of the Common People', and 'Come Back and Stay'. Some of his other albums include 'The Secret of Association' (1985), 'Between Two Fires' (1986), and 'Reflections' (1993).
