About Voxtrot

Voxtrot is a rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2002. They are known for their strong melodic songwriting and for drawing influence from classic pop music. The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Ramesh Srivastava, guitarist/backup vocalist Jonathan Terrell, bassist Matt Simon, and drummer Chris Hair.

The Austin-based four-piece have released five EPs, one full-length album, and a handful of singles. Voxtrot's sound has been described as indie rock, power pop and Britpop by the critics and fans alike. Their debut EP, "Raised By Wolves" was released in 2004.

The band's self-titled full-length album was released in 2007 and was produced by Dave Fridmann of The Flaming Lips fame. The album featured collaborations with artists such as Spoon's Britt Daniel and members of The National. Their last EP, "True
