Jefferson Starship is an American rock band formed in the 1970s, evolving from the original group Jefferson Airplane. Its founder, Paul Kantner, along with two other members of the Airplane remained in the band for most of its career. Throughout their career, Jefferson Starship had numerous hits such as "Jane", "Miracles" and "We Built This City". The band also had some chart success in the U.K. with their hit single "Find Your Way Back". Jefferson Starship was one of the biggest acts during the early 1980s, and their live shows were filled with memorable music and dazzling special effects.
