Luis Flores is a Mexican singer-songwriter and composer whose eclectic musical style combines elements of Latin, rock, folk, and world music. His career began in his hometown of Xalapa, Mexico in the early 2000s, when his first album, Paralelo, was released. Since then, he has released seven more albums, which have earned him several awards over the years, including 2 Latin Grammy nominations. He has been recognized for his intricate compositions and lyrics, as well as his creative use of unique musical instruments. His songs have also been covered by various well-known Latin artists such as Enrique Bunbury and Julieta Venegas. Beyond music, Flores has worked with the UNICEF Mexico Foundation since 2016, lending a hand in charitable events to benefit underprivileged children.
