Patrick Russell is an American electronic music producer and DJ based in Detroit. Russell began his career in the late 1990s working in independent record stores and was quickly embraced by Detroit’s burgeoning techn scene. His sound reflects his love for a broad range of genres including techno, house, electro, and ambient, often blurring boundaries between them. He has released various tracks and remixes on labels such as Interdimensional Transmissions, Refext, and Spectral Sound. Russell is also a founding member of Smartbar in Chicago, and a staple artist of the city’s famed underground music scene. He has performed at legendary venues such as Berghain & Tresor, and is part of the artist collective LIES alongside Levon Vincent, Drunken Masters and Anthony 'Shake' Shakirs. Through exploration of sound and composition, Russell continues to push boundaries and influence the modern music scene.
