Liu is a Chinese international music artist and actress. She has released 8 albums, with multiple hit singles on both the Chinese and international music charts. Her debut album, A Story, was released in 2003 and earned her numerous awards from MTV China and other music award ceremonies across Asia. She is also well known for her acting roles, starring in several Chinese mainland TV dramas and films. Liu has become known for her unique R&B style of music which includes influences from traditional Chinese music. Her recent single, “We”, has been lauded as one of the most powerful songs of 2020, and belongs to her last EP, From Here, which was released in 2019. Liu has solidified her status as an international talent and has continued to influence music culture in Asia.
