Being As An Ocean is an American post-hardcore band from Alpine, California that formed in 2011. They are heavily influenced by bands like Thrice, Tool, La Dispute and Envy. After releasing their debut album Dear G-d… in 2012, they quickly established themselves in the post-hardcore scene with their unique blend of melodic, intense, and meaningful lyrics. The band has since gone on to release four successful albums, with their latest, "Greyhound," released in 2019. They’ve toured extensively throughout Europe and the US, playing festivals such as Vans Warped Tour, Take Action Tour, and Impericon Festival. Being As An Ocean has become one of the most successful acts in the post-hardcore genre and are continuing to inspire and motivate people around the world.
