About Camp Cope
Camp Cope is an Australian punk rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 2015. The band consists of Georgia McDonald (vocals, guitar), Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich (bass, backing vocals), and Sarah Thompson (drums). Their debut self titled album released in 2016 was an immediate success, launching a huge national tour of Australia and New Zealand. The trio's critically acclaimed second album 'How To Socialise & Make Friends' was released in 2018 and included popular anthems such as 'The Opener' and 'The Face of God'. They have been praised for their ability to blend elements of punk, folk, and indie-rock and the lyrical political edge of their songs. Camp Cope have gained a loyal following both in Australia and internationally, with their songs being covered and their presence in the music scene being celebrated.
