Sematary is a Canadian death metal band from Montreal, Quebec that was formed in 2001. The founding members were Danny O'Hara on vocals, Vyto B on guitar, and Todd Gilmore on drums. The band has gone through several lineup changes and currently consists of Danny O'Hara, Jonathan Gagnon on guitar, Vyto B on bass, Gino Gallant on drums, and Chad O'Hara on guitar and backing vocals.

Sematary has released 5 studio albums to date. Their most commercially successful album was Path of Heaven released in 2004 which reached No. 14 on Canadian music charts and spawned several popular singles including "Sacrifice" and "Unveiled Eternal".

The band has toured extensively throughout Canada and performed in Europe, Australia, and China. Over their long career they have shared the stages with various well known metal bands such as symphony X, Napalm Death, and Agalloch. Sematary
