Jay-J is a record-producer and DJ, who has been active in the recording industry since the late 1990s. Born Jerome Farley in Seaford, Delaware in 1972, Jay-J has worked with a range of artists in multiple genres throughout his career, including soul, funk, house, and modern R&B. His first major hit was a remix of the single "Feelin' Freaky" by Johnny Vation in 1998, and it reached No.1 in the British dance chart. With a large library of remixes and dance, he has become one of the most renowned DJs and producers in the music industry. In addition to his work on albums, he has produced some of the most popular songs in dance music, including "Georgie Porgie" by Kataleen, "Flipside" for Demarkus Lewis, and "Maestro" by Stacy Kidd.
