PnB Rock (born Rakim Allen) is a hip-hop artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He gained recognition in 2016 when he dropped his 'RNB' mixtape and has since released several successful projects such as ‘GTTM: Goin Thru the Motions’, ‘Catch These Vibes’ and ‘TrapStar Turnt PopStar’. PnB Rock’s music is heavily influenced by his hometown of Philadelphia and his songs are often filled with references to his city and his life experiences. PnB Rock has worked with major artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, and Famous Dex as well as released a joint project with Fetty Wap. He has won a Lotus Award for Hip Hop Artist of the Year in 2017 and has been featured on the XXL Freshman List, solidifying himself as one of the hottest rap phenomenons of the last few years.
