Cam (born Camaron Ochs) is an American country music singer and songwriter. She grew up in California and wrote her first song at only 15. After achieving success in her local music scene, her debut single, "My Mistake", was released in 2010. Cam gained national attention with her follow-up single, "Burning House," which reached the top 5 of the Hot Country Songs chart. Two years later, she signed to Arista Nashville and released her debut album, Untamed, in 2015. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA and was nominated for Best Country Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. Cam's music blends traditional country with pop, and she has been praised for her honest lyrics and for taking a stand for women's empowerment in country music. She is currently on tour, performing in venues across the US.
