About Sleigh Bells

Sleigh bells are a Brooklyn-based noise pop duo of Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss. The two met while Miller was working at a guitar shop and Krauss was a school teacher turned singer-songwriter. Their sound has been described as a mixture of metal guitars and pop sensibilities. The duo released their debut album Treats in 2010, which featured the single, “Tell ‘Em.” The single earned them critical acclaim and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Metal Performance. They have released three studio albums and several EPs. Their fourth album, Jessica Rabbit, was released in 2016. The duo has toured internationally and collaborated with a number of other notable artists. They have also been sampled by the likes of Beyoncé and MIA.
