About James Maddock
James Maddock is an American singer-songwriter who is mostly known for his folk and Americana style of music. He started his career in 1990, when he, as part of the band Wood, released his first album, "Float Downstream". Since then he has released a further nine studio albums, most recently 'Golden Palominos' in 2020. His biggest hit, "Alive Along the Hudson", is taken from his 2002 solo album "Sunrise on Avenue C". He continues to tour across the US, playing headline concerts in small clubs, and frequently plays in New York's Central Park. He is also known for his collaborations, having toured with iconic artists like David Crosby and Jackson Browne. Maddock's music has featured in plenty of films, TV shows and documentaries, allowing him to further spread his music to a wider audience.
