Ryan Montbleau is an award-winning singer and songwriter from Newton, Massachusetts. Since his rise to prominence in 2004, he has often been credited with pioneering the indie folk rock genre. His distinct style and approach to music has earned him critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Paste, Relix, and other prominent music publications. He is known for his energetic live performances, often incorporating blues, soul, and jazz influences into every show. His newest original full-length album, I Was Just Leaving, was released in June of 2020 and has since been highly praised by fans and critics alike.
