About The New Pornographers

The New Pornographers are an indie rock supergroup formed in Vancouver in 1997. Composed of members from Carl Newman of Zumpano, Dan Bejar of Destroyer and Neko Case, the band gained immediate attention from the rock scene with their debut album 'Mass Romantic' and it’s lead single ‘Letter From an Occupant’.

The vocal harmonies of the band have been praised and they have earned the nickname ‘power pop supergroup’ for their sugary hooks over catchy melodies. They have gone on to produce multiple successful albums and have toured extensively around the world. Most recently they released the album ‘Whiteout Conditions’ in 2017.

The New Pornographers have continued to release music that both fans amongst critics continue to recognize and appreciate .
