Slim is an American rapper who has been making music for almost twenty years. He hails from Detroit, Michigan and gained initial fame in the late 90s and early 2000s with his albums “The Gatekeeper II” and “Legends Never Die”. He has gone on to record several other albums since then, and his songs have often featured on various reality TV shows. He is also known for being one of the first artists to mix classical string instruments with rap and hip hop production. Slim has collaborated with many of his contemporaries, and has appeared on several songs with other well-known rappers. He is credited with pushing the boundaries of rap and hip hop music in the early 2000s.
