First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk-pop duo, consisting of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg. They were originally discovered on Myspace in 2008, where their indie-folk songs began to gain popularity, leading to an international career. Their first major album, The Big Black & Blue, was released in 2010 and went to number one in four countries. They have since released three more studio albums, Emi Lee, Remain In Light and Ruins. Most recently, they have collaborated with a string of established artists, including Bright Eyes, Conor Oberst, and Jack White. Their sound has earned them awards, recognition from the music industry, and a large fanbase all over the world.
