About The Blow Monkeys
The Blow Monkeys are an English new wave/pop band formed in 1981. They were initially part of the British post-punk revival of the early 1980s. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Dr. Robert Howard, bassist Tony Kiley, keyboardist Mick Anker, and drummer Neville Henry.
The band's first album, Limping for a Generation, was released in 1983 and reached the Top 10 in the UK Albums Chart. After the success of their second album, Animal Magic, released in 1986, they achieved international success with the single "Digging Your Scene". The single charted at number 14 in the UK Singles Chart and reached number 12 on the US Billboard Club chart.
The band released five more albums in the 1980s, but saw their pop success start to wane in the 1990s. They released their final studio album, Springtime for the World, in 2004, before disbanding in 2006. They reunited in
