About Danko Jones

Danko Jones is a Canadian rock trio from Toronto, Ontario, consisting of Danko Jones on vocals and guitar, John Calabrese on bass, and Rich Knapp on drums. Since their formation in the mid-'90s, the band has released nine studio albums and 18 singles. Their music is rooted in blues and '70s rock with influence from modern punk-rock. Danko Jones has toured the world for many years, playing many high-profile music festivals around the globe, such as Reading and Leeds in the UK, Southside and Hurricane in Germany, and Bonnaroo and Riot Fest in the US. The group has had several of their tracks featured in TV shows and movies. Though not widely popular, Danko Jones has been praised by many prominent artists like Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.
