About Freddie Gibbs
Profiled as a versed lyricist that can rhyme on every given beat, Freddie Gibbs began rapping and self-releasing properly styled gangsta rap mixtapes throughout the late 2000s and early 2010s. Influenced by the likes of 2Pac or Biggie, Freddie raps about stories from his times, the struggles, and the achievements. His style doesn't resonate with any new age rappers, but rather, he assimilates the good old days of hip-hop.
From trap or breakbeat versing to collaborating with a wide array of rappers like Young Thug or Jeezy, Freddie's flow is well respected as his messages are always straight forward! He became mostly known for his "Baby Face Killa" mixtape and released his studio album debut on his own label, ESGN.
